Fatal Head-On Motorcycle Crash

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 10-29-25 6:40 pm
LOCATION: N Melrose dr & Dove Cir
AREA/CITY: VISTA
DETAILS:

1. VISTA: At around 6:40 PM, reports came in of a motorcycle collision at the intersection of North Melrose Drive and Dove Circle.
2. On arrival, first responders located a motorcycle that had collided with an SUV.
3. The rider was reportedly thrown approximately 100 feet north of the initial point of impact.
4. Arriving units immediately began CPR and life-saving measures, but after some time, the motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.
5. The driver of the SUV remained on scene and is cooperating with Sheriff’s deputies.
6. All southbound lanes of North Melrose Drive are currently closed at Cocopah as the investigation continues.
