Fatal Head-On Collision in Los Angeles

DETAILS:

1. LAFD & LAPD responded to a report of a crash with people trapped in the car
2. Firefighters arrived to find an SUV that crashed head-on into a power pole
3. Firefighters found 2 people trapped, a male & female
4. One person was able to self-extricate from the vehicle
5. Both trapped occupants were transported in critical condition to Northridge
6. The male Passenger was transported with CPR in progress and was declared deceased at the hospital
7. The additional passenger was also transported to Northridge in an unknown condition
8. LAPD VTD is handling the investigation
