Fatal Golf Cart Crash

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 8-9-24, 8:21 p.m.
LOCATION: 16000 block of Mariposa
AREA/CITY: Woodcrest
DETAILS:

1. 1. CalFire Riverside County Fire Department and California Highway Patrol, Riverside responded to a report of a rollover traffic collision involving a golf cart.
   2. According to CalFire there were two patients.
   3. According to CHP at the scene, one person was pronounced deceased as a result of the collision.
   4. It appears that the person may have been at some type of function when the incident occurred.
   5. The second patient has moderate injuries.
   6. The collision is under investigation.
   7. It is not clear if drugs or alcohol were a factor.
   8. The age and sex of the deceased is not known.
