Fatal Freeway Ejection Crash | Avocado Heights

02.23.2022 | 2:18 AM | AVOCADO HEIGHTS – Authorities responded to reports of a freeway crash on the CA-60 and I-605 Interchange. First responders arrived on scene and located a multi-car crash with heavy damage to two vehicles. CHP officers attempted life saving measures on one of the victims, however, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. At least one other person was transported to a local area hospital in unknown condition. All westbound lanes of traffic are being diverted onto the I-605 while the incident is being investigated.
