Fatal Freeway Accident Closes Loop 101 | Phoenix

12.19.2021 | 2:00 AM | PHOENIX – Arizona Department of Public Safety Troopers responded to reports of a 2 vehicle collision blocking HOV at Indian School Road on Southbound 101 around 12:00 am Sunday morning. Upon arrival troopers found a severe 2 vehicle reared collision with one driver trapped and unresponsive. Phoenix Fire crews were dispatched and pronounced the trapped driver deceased on scene.
