Fatal Fiery Crash | Somis

01.14.2020 | 1:48 AM | SOMIS – Ventura County Fire crews responded to multiple reports of an explosion with fire in the area of Donlon Rd and La Cumbre Rd.

When crews arrived on scene, the located a crashed vehicle on fire that was spreading to nearby eucalyptus trees.

It took crews approximately 45 minutes to knock down the blaze.

The solo occupant in the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.

CHP Moorpark is investigating.
