Fatal Collision Investigation Closes PCH

DETAILS:

1. The Orange County Sheriff Department is investigating a fatal traffic collision involving a van on Pacific Coast Hwy.
2. The collision occurred at the intersection of PCH & Shoreline Dr. where a large van collided with a light signal.
3. Units from the Orange County Fire Authority also responded however life saving efforts were called off as the driver was declared deceased on scene.
4. The Orange County Sheriff’s Coroner division is working with their Major Accident Investigation Team as the OCSD has Pacific Coast Highway closed in both directions for an unknown duration as they work the crash investigation.
