At approximately 2:38 p.m. on May 2, 2026, a fast-moving brush fire erupted near West Hazen Road and South Rooks Road on the outskirts of Buckeye, Arizona.
The fire quickly spread across approximately 40 acres, prompting evacuations at a nearby RV resort as flames moved rapidly through the area.
Ranchers were also seen moving livestock to safety while firefighters worked to protect surrounding properties.
