Family Trapped After Fiery Crash

DETAILS:
- NWFD, Precinct 1 and HCSO responded to reports of a fiery crash with patients trapped
- arriving companies located a white sedan on fire, with all parties out
- the second vehicle had at least 4 occupants, including a mother and her 2 children
- both adults were trapped inside
- NWFD extricated 2 patients in about 10 minutes
- Per NW FD Chief Cole, 2 patients were extricated from the vehicle and transported as stable traumas. the children also in the vehicle were uninjured and transported with their injured mother to keep the family together.
- The second vehicle involved in the crash was on fire, but no injuries from it
- Precinct 1 is investigating, and all inbound lanes are closed for the duration
