- A powerful atmospheric river has brought severe flooding to northern California.
- Earlier today, CHP/Caltrans ordered the complete closure of Highway 99 near Keefer Rd in both directions due to extreme flooding.
- The video shows the flooded running water area that stretches half a mile long.
- Surrounding areas show water flooding homes and businesses as brutally heavy rain slams the northern California region.
- Reports of flooding and road washouts are starting to surface near the town of Cohasset, which was heavily devastated by the Park Fire during the summer.
- The rain shows no sign of letting up, and further, another colder storm system is set to make landfall late tomorrow.
- The heavy rain has made driving conditions extremely dangerous. Visibility is poor, and it’s hard to tell if you are driving on wet roads or into a flooded area.
