Exposition Park: Hit & Run Driver Leaves Woman Critically Injured

08.05.2020 | 2:47 AM | LOS ANGELES – A woman was left seriously injured by a hit-and-run driver, early Wednesday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision near the intersection of Western Avenue and 38th Place in the Exposition Park area around 2:47 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a female pedestrian down in the roadway with no other vehicle stopped nearby.

Firefighters rushed the woman to an area hospital in critical condition.

The driver that struck the victim fled the scene without stopping or rendering aid.
