Escondido: Man Seriously Injured After Shooting

07.26.2020 | 9:15 PM | ESCONDIDO – A man was seriously injured after being found shot in the back, Sunday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting with a man down in the 200 block of West 15th Avenue around 9:15 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to his back.

Firefighter paramedics rushed the man to Palomar Hospital in serious condition.

Officers cordoned off the scene of the shooting while they searched for clues.

No suspect description or motive was immediately available.
