Encino: Officer Involved Shooting Prompts Investigation

12.22.2018 | 9:00 PM | ENCINO – Authorities were investigating after an officer involved shooting occurred, Saturday night.

Officers responded to the 5200 block of Shoshone Avenue around 9:00 PM regarding reports of a man with knife.

Units arrived on scene and for reasons that remain under investigation, a shooting occured.

It was unclear if anyone was injured in the shooting.

Detectives were on scene investigating the circumstances that led to the shooting.
