Encino: Motor Officer Collides With Bicyclist

07.22.2019 | 12:02 PM | ENCINO – A Los Angeles Police Department motor officer and a civilian bicyclist were hospitalized after colliding, Monday afternoon.

Authorities responded to reports of an officer down in the 16400 block of West Burbank Boulevard in Encino around 12:02 PM.

Units arriving on scene found a civilian bicyclist and an LAPD motor officer down after an apparent traffic collision.

Firefighter paramedics treated both patients on scene before transporting them to area hospitals in unknown condition.

The scene of the crash was closed while officers worked to piece together what happened.
