Encino: Man Dies After Being Buried In Trench

07.03.2019 | 6:25 PM | ENCINO – A man was dead after being buried in an trench during an apparent construction project, Wednesday evening.

Authorities responded to reports of a man trapped in a trench to the rear of a residence in the 5000 block of Louise Avenue around 6:25 PM.

Crews arriving on scene found an approximately 8-foot deep trench that had collapsed trapping a male victim.

Despite the efforts of firefighter paramedics to rescue the man, he was pronounced deceased on scene.

Police were on scene investigating the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
