Encino: Fatal Shooting At Home After Card Game

07.27.2020 | 1:25 AM | LOS ANGELES – One man was dead and another was in police custody after a fatal shooting at a home, early Monday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting with a victim down in the 18000 block of Green Meadow Drive, in the Encino area, around 1:25 AM.

Units arriving on scene found a male victim down suffering from a gunshot wound outside a home and pronounced him deceased on scene.

The suspected shooter, reported to be the victim’s cousin, was apprehended at the scene.

Initial reports indicate the shooting broke out after a dispute occuring during a card game inside the home.

The identity of the victim was withheld pending family notification.
