Elevator Shaft Catches Fire In 2 Alarm Fire | National City

09.14.2021 | 4:24 PM | NATIONAL CITY – A large tower above a commercial business center caught fire for unknown reasons. It was the elevator shaft that caught fire. A 2nd alarm was called due to the danger of the fire spreading and the height of the actual fire, making access difficult. There are no reported injuries. The Fire is under investigation. The Firefighters were waiting for an elevator contractor to come and open the elevator to see if anyone is inside.
