Elderly Man Rescued from Burglary and Stabbing

DETAILS:
- The suspect (s) broke into a home on 17th Ave SW; a victim was stabbed and left in critical condition, requiring transport to HMC by Medics. Another occupant (an elderly male) was carried out by an officer bear hug style to a safe place
- SWAT was called in as it was believed the suspect(s) were still inside.
- Due to the elderly male being able to sign a consent form, no warrant was needed, and SWAT made entry within an hour
- Unfortunately, the home was vacant, and the suspect(s) are on the run
