Elderly Female Rescued From Two Alarm Residential Fire | Brea
09.07.2021 | 8:24 PM | ANAHEIM – Just before 8:30 PM, calls were made to the Brea Fire Department reporting a structure fire on the 200 block of West Central Ave. in Brea. Arriving fire units found two units at the Heritage Plaza Senior Apartments well involved in flames and a second alarm was called for additional resources from Anaheim Fire & Rescue as well as the Fullerton Fire Department. One person was pulled from an involved unit by a retired U.S. Marine before the fire department arrived. The female victim aged 101, had minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The blaze was extinguished in about fifteen minutes according to the Fullerton/ Brea Battalion Chief. Arson investigators of the Brea Fire Department will be searching for the cause of the fire.
