Elderly Couple Killed During Two Alarm House Fire | Houston

DETAILS:

HFD responded to reports of a house on fire.

Arriving crews located a single story residence with heavy fire showing.

Crews attempted to make entry but the front porch collapsed.

Fire crews went to the back of the house to make entry.

Crews located a male victim in the back of the house.

That male was pronounced deceased.

A women is still unaccounted for.

It’s said an elderly married couple live here.

One is 77 years old and the other is 79 years old.

A 211 alarm was dispatched but cancelled shortly after.

At this time there is no reports of firefighter injuries.

Crews are still trying to extinguish the fire.

Cause of the fire will be under investigation.

Crews did located heating items that are of interest.
