El Monte Police Chase Stolen Big Rig

- This is an ongoing pursuit involving a stolen big rig that started with EL Monte and circled the SGV before continuing east across the 210, 60, and now the 10
- This is still an ongoing pursuit. Bug rig is driving erratically. At one point, units backed off in a construction zone and he began making his own traffic break
- Around 2:45 AM, the suspect merged onto the 210 W. from the 10 freeway before turning around and attempting to go back east. Just prior to San Bernardino Ave., he struck the center divider and disabled the big rig.
- The suspect bailed from the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot down a hill but was captured quickly by officers
- The 210 East at San Bernardino Avenue off ramp in Redlands is the only area closed to traffic as officers await a tow truck
