El Monte: Freeway Road-Rage Shooting Injures Man

11.03.2019 | 10:45 PM | EL MONTE – A man was injured by after a road-rage shooting on the I-605 Freeway, Sunday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting victim inside a vehicle near a park in the 12100 block of Deanna Street around 10:45 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a man with a graze wound and a bullet-riddled vehicle.

Firefighter paramedics treated the man on scene and transported him to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Initial reports indicate the man was involved in a road-rage incident with another driver eventually firing multiple shots.

No suspect information was immediately available and authorities are continuing to investigate.
