El Cajon: Police Discover Stabbing Victim While Investigating Shooting

12.15.2018 | 11:45 PM | EL CAJON – Police were investigating after two people were hospitalized, one with a gunshot wound and the other with a stab wound, late Saturday night.

Officers were on scene investigating after a man was shot in the 1200 block of Andover around 11:45 PM.

During their investigating a man suffering from a stab wound to his back exited a residence and approached officers.

Firefighter paramedics responded to the scene and transported the stabbing victim to an area hospital.

It was unclear whether the stabbing victim was related to the earlier shooting incident that left another person hospitalized.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
