El Cajon: Man Stabbed In Walmart Parking Lot

12.22.2018 | 3:25 PM | EL CAJON – A man was hospitalized after being stabbed by a pair of young men in a Walmart parking lot, Saturday evening.

Authorities responded to the reported stabbing in the parking lot of the Walmart located in the 500 block of North Johnson Avenue around 3:25 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a male in his 50s suffering from multiple stab wounds.

Firefighter paramedics treated the victim on scene before transporting him to an area hospital.

Reports from the scene indicate the man was driving in the parking lot when two young adults in their late teens or early 20s stopped in front of them and an exchange of words occurred.

The man parked shortly after and was then attacked by the suspects who stabbed him at least once before fleeing.

A perimeter was established by police and the suspects were located on Madison Avenue.

They were taken into custody pending official charges.
