- Icy roads and winter snow conditions caused a major 20 vehicle pileup on the Interstate 10 in the City of Yucaipa.
- Authorities responded to reports of a multi-car traffic collision on the westbound I-10 and Wildwood Canyon.
- CalFire Yucaipa firefighters arrived and located “20 car traffic collision, cars everywhere, blocking traffic” per CalFire Battalion Chief Grant Malinowski.
- Several big rigs were also involved in the crash.
- A total of 8 patients were injured (unknown extent of injuries) as a result of the crash.
- A light blanketing of snow and ice can be seen on the roadways in the video, and heavy snowfall can be seen at times towards the end of the video.
- There is a full freeway closure in both directions, and authorities are working to clear the crashed vehicles.
