East Los Angeles: Driver Dead After Crashing Into Pole

11.10.2019 | 8:45 PM | LOS ANGELES – A driver was dead after a high-speed crash into a pole, Sunday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a pole near the intersection of Telegraph Road and South Fetterly Avenue around 8:45 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a white pickup truck that had struck a pole, trapping the driver.

Firefighter paramedics pronounced the solo occupant deceased on scene from obvious trauma.

All lanes of Telegraph Road are closed until further notice near the crash while authorities investigate.
