East Los Angeles: Deputies Search For Suspect After Double Shooting

02.09.2020 | 3:46 PM | LOS ANGELES – A manhunt was underway after two people were wounded in a shooting, Sunday evening.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting with two victims down in the 900 block of North Marianna Avenue around 3:46 PM.

Units arriving on scene located two victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

Firefighter paramedics transported the victims to USC Medical Center in unknown condition.

Several hours later deputies received information that the shooter was in a home located in the 3600 block of East Caesar Chavez Avenue.

Deputies and a SWAT team surrounded the home and eventually detained one person of interest but the suspected shooter was believed to still be at large as of 2:30 AM on Monday.
