East Hollywood: One Dead, Another Critically Injured After Shooting

04.06.2020 | 8:00 PM | LOS ANGELES – One person was dead and another was critically injured after a shooting, Tuesday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting outside a laundromat near the intersection of Beverly Boulevard and Hobart place on the border of Koreatown and East Hollywood around 8:00 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a male victim inside a vehicle deceased from a gunshot wound.

A female passenger was injured and firefighter paramedics transported her to an area hospital in critical condition.

Officers cordoned off the area surrounding the shooting while they investigated.

Initial reports described the suspect as a male in dark clothing who fled in an unknown direction.

No motive or additional information regarding the shooting was immediately available.
