Early Morning Apartment Fire

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 6-27-24 | 2:21 a.m.
LOCATION: 1935 S La Salle Ave
AREA/CITY: Los Angeles
DETAILS:

1. LAFD responded to a report of a structure fire
2. While crews were en route, they were advised two people were confirmed to be trapped in an upstairs unit
3. Firefighters arrived to find fire on the second story, extending to the third story
4. Firefighters made an aggressive attack & were able to quickly knock down the flames
5. Crews did locate two people however, they were uninjured and declined treatment
6. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time
