E-Bike Rider Hospitalized After Collision With Vehicle

An e-bike rider was hospitalized after a collision with a vehicle Sunday evening in Moreno Valley.

At approximately 6:30 p.m. on August 16, 2026, deputies responded to the area of Alessandro Boulevard and Appleblossom Lane following reports of a traffic collision.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrived to find a collision involving a vehicle and an e-bike.

The rider was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. No arrests have been made.

Authorities said it remains unclear whether the e-bike rider was crossing the street, traveling in a bike lane or riding in the roadway when the collision occurred.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
