DUI Suspect Hits Two Parked Vehicles Causing Major Damage
INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 9-7-23, 1:14 a.m.
LOCATION: 2543 Orange St/Audubon PL
CITY: Riverside
DETAILS:
- Riverside Police Department and City Of Riverside Fire Department responded to multiple reports of a truck that had hit multiple parked cars.
- When units arrived on scene they found 3 vehicles with major damage, a red Ford on its side leaning against a silver Toyota Tacoma and down the road about half a block another red truck, a red Dodge Ram against a power pole, through a chain link fence and partially into someone’s front yard.
- According to witnesses, two men jumped out of the red Ford and ran.
- About 2 block away, police found who they believe to be the driver of the Ford.
- He was attended to by paramedics and transported to a local area hospital (On Video), suffering from unknown injuries, where police will make contact with him and check for possible DUI.
- According to the owner of the red Dodge that was his work truck and the impact of the hit pushed his truck almost an entire block down the road.
- According to multiple witnesses, the truck was traveling at a very high rate of speed before he hit the two parked trucks.
- At this time, police do believe that speed and alcohol was a factor in the crash
