DUI Suspect Arrested After Crashing Into Bloomington Home

At approximately 2:46 a.m. on May 29, 2026, California Highway Patrol officers responded to reports of a vehicle that crashed into a home near Cedar Avenue and Bloomington Avenue in Bloomington.

Responding units discovered the vehicle had traveled completely into the residence, causing significant damage to the home.

Authorities said the driver fled the scene on foot but was later located by officers.

After an investigation, the driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

According to CHP, four people were inside the vehicle at the time of the crash. Two passengers were transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries, one occupant was released at the scene, and the driver was taken into custody.

Fortunately, no residents inside the home were physically injured, although those inside—including at least one young child—were left shaken by the crash.

The investigation remains ongoing.
