DUI Driver Strikes LAFD Ambulance in Los Angeles

12.17.2020 | 11:27 PM | ECHO PARK – A paramedics was taken to the hospital after being struck by a DUI driver Thursday.

Paramedics put out the call for help in area of Temple Avenue and Laveta Terrace shortly before 11:30 PM.

Arriving fire companies located the LAFD Ambulance that had been struck by a DUI driver.

The driver of a black sedan struck the passenger side of the ambulance.

One paramedic was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries, and the driver of the sedan was also transported in unknown condition.

At this time it is unclear if the ambulance was responding to a call or not.

LAPD is handling the investigation.
