DUI Driver Kills Innocent Mother & Son In Crash | San Diego

05.07.2022 | 9:06 PM | SAN DIEGO – Two vehicles collided for unknown reasons in the intersection. Firefighters had to extricated the injured. 2 people are deceased and 3 people were transported to local hospitals with major injuries. The Intersection of these busy streets is closed for the investigation. UPDATE From the SDPD: The male driver of the truck was northbound on Sports Arena Blvd (south of Rosecrans) and he was speeding. He hit a cement traffic divider and went airborne. The family of 4 was in the van and they were eastbound on Rosecrans when the truck landed on top of the van (nose first). The dead include 1 female ( mother) and 1 male (son).
