DUI Driver Flips Horse Trailer | Camarillo

03.21.21 | 1:31 AM | CAMARILLO – CHP Ventura officers responded to a call of a pickup truck hauling a trailer that had flipped over in the center divider in southbound lanes of US-101 south of Del Norte Blvd.

When officers arrived on scene, they found the driver of the truck along with Honey the horse standing on the left shoulder.

Officers took custody of Honey while the driver was subjected to a field sobriety test to which he failed and was subsequently arrested for suspected DUI.

Ventura County Animal Services was requested to take Honey for safekeeping.
