DUI Driver Crashes into Building During Pursuit

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 1-10-25, 1:43 a.m.
LOCATION: 3610 14TH ST, RIVERSIDE, CA
AREA/CITY: Riverside
DETAILS:

  1. Riverside Fire Department responded to a vehicle in a building called
  2. When firefighters arrived on the scene, they found a single vehicle in a building with the driver trapped inside the car.
  3. The crash resulted from a pursuit initiated by a gentleman who was doing donuts in the middle of the street  in downtown Riverside and driving recklessly.
  4. The driver was extricated and transported to a local area hospital, suffering from moderate injuries.
  5. The vehicle shattered all the large panel glass windows out of the building.
  6. The driver was intoxicated.
  7. The building is the Thompson & Coolegate law buildingin  downtown Riverside.
