DUI Driver Crashes Car into Front Yard of a Home in Moreno Valley

DETAILS:

1. Deputies from Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, Moreno Valley Station, and Cal Fire, Riverside County, responded to reports of a traffic collision, vehicle vs home with extrication.
2. When the first responding units arrived, they found one vehicle overturned.  The occupants had self-extricated.
3. Deputies administered field sobriety tests to the driver and placed him under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence.
4. The passenger, the driver’s girlfriend, was transported to a local hospital, suffering from unknown, non-life-threatening injuries.
5. The owners of the home were not home at the time of the collision.
