DUI Arrest after Wrong Way Crash

LOCATION:  Northbound Gulf Freeway at Scott St

DETAILS:

1. HPD was notified of a wrong way driver on gulf freeway
2. Reports of a Southbound driver in the Northbound lanes
3. HPD Fox got overhead quickly and located a van rolled over, with significant damage, and a sedan up against the right median
4. Officers were on the freeway moments later, and HFD right behind them
5. no injuries reported
6. Driver of wrong way Nissan taken into custody
7. Driver of the van, a mobile Auto glass provider, declined medical treatment
8. VIDEO-2—- FIELD SOBRIETY TESTS AND ARREST
