- California Highway Patrol, Riverside office responded to a reported traffic collision involving a car that hit a box truck that was heading down Cajalco Road, and then smashed into several parked cars causing major damage.
- When units arrived, they found 6 cars with damage, 3 with major damage, 2 with minor and 1 with moderate damage.
- According to the driver of the box truck as well asĀ several other witnesses, the woman in the silver car was driving down Cajalco Road when for unknown reasons she hit the box truck, then went off the roadway and slammed into multiple parked cars.
- CHP Officers conducted a field sobriety test and placed the woman under arrest for suspected DUI.
- The box truck recieved moderate damage, 3 two of the parked vehicles are totaled and two others were swiped, tearing off a mirror and some side damage.
- The car the DUI driver was in is totaled with major damage.
- The entire side of a truck that she hit was demolished and the front axel of another truck was broke.
- All the cars that she hit minus the box truck were at one home, where a family was having a Sunday afternoon BBQ when the crash occurred.
