Drunk Tesla Driver Slams Into Rav 4 On The Freeway

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 1-26-24, 11:40 p.m.
LOCATION: SB 5 Freeway/Riverside 91 Interchange
AREA/CITY: Fullerton
DETAILS:

1. California Highway Patrol, Westminster office and Fullerton Fire Department, responded for a two vehicle traffic collision.
2. When units arrived, they found a Tesla and a Toyota Rav4 with damage.
3. According to CHP, the female driver of the Tesla slammed into the rear end of the Toyota Rav4, which was parked on the side of the road and had two female occupants.
4. One of the occupants of the Rav4 was transported to a local area hospital suffering from unknown injuries.
5. The second occupant of the Rav4 was not injured.
6. The woman driving the Tesla was detained for suspicion of driving under the influence, but not injured.
