Drunk Driver Rear Ends HCSO Deputy | Houston

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 1-28-23 | 2:16 a.m.
LOCATION: Eastex & FM 1314

DETAILS:

1. HCSO observed a reckless driver near Will Clayton Pkwy & US 59 North
2. Deputies attempted to stop the driver but he fled at a high rate of speed
3. Eventually deputies were able to get the suspect stopped near Eastex & FM1314 on the feeder rd
4. A Sgt arrived shortly after to check on the deputies stopping on the number three lane
5. The deputy had his lights activated & exited his vehicle
6. A female in an SUV then struck the deputies patrol car
7. The female was seriously injured and transported by Montgomery County Fire
8. The female is DWI & will be facing DWI charges
9. The male from the initial pursuit was also taken into custody & will be charged at least with Evading
10. DPS is handling the crash due to it being in Montgomery County
