Drunk Crashes Into Family Going Home From Work

DETAILS:
- A Father and his two sons with a small dog named Minnie were on their way home when out of nowhere they were hit by a man described by LAFD as drunk.
- LAFD transported one of the two sons and checked out the father and another son, but they did not want to be transported.
- The suspected DUI driver in the black SUV was handcuffed and transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
- The father and two sons also lost their small truck and all of the equipment that they used to make a living. They said they were on their way home from cleaning carpets at local restaurants when they were hit.
- The cleaning equipment can be seen scattered on the road.
- The dog was said to have been limping as well. They do not know if the dog’s leg is broken.
- Both the Son and dad at the scene are named Jose and the son told me it maybe months before they get back on their feet and start the business again.
