Drunk Burglary Suspect Caught on Roof | Houston

03.25.2021 | 12:00 AM | HOUSTON – HPD officers responded to reports of a possible burglary in progress at the Latino Corner Store at 4100 Telephone.

Officers located an intoxicated male who was in crisis. The male fled from officers and climbed onto the roof and refused to come down.

it took officers about 30 minutes, with the assistance of HFD, to get on the roof and take the male into custody.

The male was uninjured, and was taken for detox and psych evaluation. Unknown at this time if the male will be charged.
