Driver With Learners Permit Crashes Into Burlington Coat Factory

LOCATION: 500 N. Euclid St.

DETAILS:

1. Anaheim Fire and Rescue and Anaheim Police Department responded to a reported car vs a building.
2. When fire fighters arrived they found a car with major damage that had hit the building.
3. The collision clipped the building, leaving a large chunk of the building missing.
4. According to a passenger in the vehicle, the owner of the car was letting a friend with a drivers permit drive the car in the parking lot of the business when she accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake on the vehicle, hitting the building.
5. The driver of the vehicle was transported to a local area hospital suffering from unknown injuries.
6. No other injuries were reported.
