Driver Trapped & Rescued After Crashing Into Tree | Glendale, AZ

01.01.2022 | 2:00 AM | GLENDALE, AZ – Fire crews from the cities of Phoenix and Glendale responded to reports of a single vehicle wreck requiring extrication near 4700 West Grand Avenue around 2:00 AM New Years morning.

Upon arrival crews found a sedan with extensive driver side damage and one patient trapped.

Fire crews utilized heavy rescue extrication equipment to cut the driver out of the vehicle.

The patient was transported to a local trauma center in unknown condition.

Glendale police are currently investigating the incident working to determine what caused the wreck.
