Driver Trapped For 2 Hours After Slamming Into Semi | Rialto

04.30.2022 | 9:20 PM | RIALTO – On April 30th, 2022, at about 9:20 PM, CHP and Rialto Fire responded to a reported traffic collision on the Westbound 210 Freeway, West of Riverside Ave in the city of Rialto. CHP arrived to find a pickup truck under a semi-truck trailer with two parties still trapped inside the pickup. Rialto Fire arrived at the scene and requested two heavy-lift toe trucks to lift the trailer off the pickup truck. Both occupants of the pickup truck were transported to a local hospital. One victim had moderate injuries, the other had major injuries. The cause of the crash is under investigation. CHP will have the Riverside Ave on-ramp to the Westbound 210 and two lanes closed while the crash is cleaned up. No other information was provided at the scene.
