Driver Trapped After Possible DUI Crash

- A drunk driver is lucky to be alive after leaving a nearby bar, speeding down a narrow road, and plowing his car into a cinder block wall.
- At around 7:30 pm, first responders were dispatched to reports of a traffic collision with the driver trapped.
- When they arrived on the scene, they found an old model Ford pickup truck had crashed into a wall on the side of a building, and the driver was confirmed to be trapped.
- It took firefighters about 25 – 30 minutes to successfully extricate the victim.
- It was overheard that CHP was possibly investigating reports that the driver was seen at a nearby bar prior to the incident, and a DUI investigation is underway.
- Law enforcement was confirmed to follow the victim to Loma Linda Hospital for further investigation.
