Driver Trapped After Crashing SUV Into Home

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 05/23/23 9:56 P.M.
LOCATION:350 N Chautauque Blvd
CITY: Los Angeles

DETAILS:

1. LAFD and LAPD responded to a reported traffic accident
2. Units arrived to find an SUV that had left the roadway and came to rest against a house.
3. Firefighters found the driver trapped inside the vehicle and extricated him from the wreckage.
4. The driver was transported right away to a local trauma center in unknown condition.
5. Firefighters had to use their Heavy Rescue to lift the car from the yard.
6.  Police believe the driver may have been fleeing from a crash near Sunset when he lost control.
7.  The home suffered some damage and Building, and Safety is at the scene.
8. No other injuries have been reported and the owners of the home were not home at the time of the crash.
