Driver Trapped After Crashing Into Large Tree

DETAILS:
- LACoFD and Santa Fe Springs CHP got dispatched to a traffic collision with one person trapped inside the vehicle
- A Neighbor from across the street from the crash heard the crash and ran over to the crash to see if the driver was okay. Once fire and CHP arrived at scene the reported one vehicle crashed into a large tree and was stuck inside the vehicle unable to get out
- Fire started aid to the patient and had a broke leg and was conscious and breathing.
- Fire took about 15 to 20 mins to get the trapped driver out and transported to a local area hospital
- The crash is under investigation with Sante Fe Springs handling the scene.
