Driver Trapped After Crashing Into House In Houston TX

DETAILS:

1. HPD and HFD responded to reports of a vehicle into a house, with an occupant trapped inside the vehicle
2. Arriving companies located an SUV in the back yard of a house after driving through the structure, with a male trapped inside
3. Male was extricated in about 15-20 min
4. Male was transported in stable condition to a local trauma center
5. According to a witness (on camera) driver was flying down Niagra and kept going through the T intersection at Sunflower, striking the house and coming to rest in the back yard
6. Extensive damage to the house, which was occupied by 1 woman at the time of the crash
